For the vertical axis and heavy structural segments of the 3C pick-and-place gantries, the GGK Steel Linear Stage Series was selected, including the GGK50, GGK60, and GGK86 models based on varying load requirements.
Integrated U-Shaped Steel Structure: Unlike standard aluminum profiles, the GGK50, GGK60, and GGK86 integrate the linear guide rail wayside directly into a high-strength, precision-ground U-shaped steel base. This minimizes cross-sectional space while providing extraordinary structural stiffness.
Exceptional Moment Load Resistance: The optimized steel-to-steel gothic-arch ball track configuration enables the GGK series to handle severe overhung and cantilevered torsional forces, ensuring minimal deflection even during sudden high-acceleration shifts.
Cost-Effective Precision Integration: By combining the guide rail and ball screw nut housing into a single cohesive unit, the GGK series delivers sub-micron repeatability and long service lifecycles without requiring expensive multi-component alignment setups.

Throughout this project’s timeline, Gaogong executed precise engineering updates—including tailored extended shaft dimensions on the GGK86 and ATH12 modules to accommodate the client's preferred European-brand servo motors, and specialized linear stage encoder interfaces on the ATH5 and ATH8 modules for real-time positional verification.
Every single GGK (50/60/86) and ATH (5/8/10/12) module underwent dynamic calibration via laser interferometers on our specialized granite base testing platforms before packaging. To withstand cross-continental transit, the entire shipment was secured in vacuum-sealed anti-static packaging and heavy-duty, vibration-dampening wooden crates, ensuring that all 2,000 units arrived in Canada ready for immediate plug-and-play field installation.
